Interview
For this interview podcast we decided on asking each other 5 questions:
What music do you listen to? What is your musical background? What inspired you to study music? What are you currently doing within the music industry? and what are your plans for the future regarding music?
We decided to ask these questions to give each other and others a more in detail description about us. We then recorded the Interview onto logic and cut up each question so that one question was answered by me, then the other question was answered by Vinnie. During each question we decided to both pick a song we liked so that it could play in the background of each question that was being answered, for example when I was answering my question I would have the chosen song I liked playing in the background. This made it more personal to us as it showed what music each of us were interested in and the contrast to different music genres. We then proceeded to add automation to try and get the sound of the music quieter then the interview and so that it faded from one question to the other this overall made the interview flow a lot better.
Finally we bounced the audio down so that the interview could be transferred onto Soundcloud so that it was available for others to see.
For the logo we used canva.com to create the design, we decided to add a microphone and music symbols into the design to show that that the context of the logo was for a podcast/interview. We then added the title and who the interview was by to give the audience demographic an intel into what the whole project is for. We then uploaded the logo design onto Soundcloud with the audio so that when viewed the logo is the first thing people see to entice the audience to view the podcast/Interview.
